Fall in Arizona looks a little different than most places around the country. We’re still combating near triple digit heat over here, and I just heard it’s snowing some places back East. Dressing for autumn in our climate calls for some creativity, so I’m sharing my latest attempt at fall fashion in summer temps! Moody florals are everywhere these days and I’m loving it! Like this Old Navy dress, which is on sale for $15. It’s a perfect dress for the heat, and would also work with tights or leggings come December, or now for those of you who actually experience seasons.
These shots are from the Japanese Friendship Garden here in Phoenix. It’s a beautiful little oasis tucked away in the middle of the city and for a while I forgot I was in a desert. If you’re around and haven’t been, I’d definitely recommend it-would make a great picnic spot! My amazing cousin Allie and I took a stroll through recently and she helped me snag a few pics.
I’ve been loving these comfy Sam Edelman booties as well. I scored them as a Last Chance bargain back in June (~$13 holla) and am so excited to be finally wearing them. They’re great neutral booties -simple and versatile and I’ve been wearing them with both jeans and dresses.
I shopped around for some more floral dress inspiration and may have even started a Pinterest board dedicated entirely to Fall Florals-enjoy! Happy Fall, y’all!
