I’m no stranger to LOFT, as one peek into my closet would tell you. It was my first big-girl store credit card back in the day and I’ve been loyal ever since. Every season LOFT has something I find that seems like it was made just for me. This charcoal grey peplum of theirs is one of my latest favorites.
This peplum has all the right details-the cut-out ladder stitching around the sleeves and neckline is subtle and sophisticated. Cool and flowing, it’s perfect for those hot August days.
I love pairing this loose feminine top with skinny distressed jeans to balance it out-just the right amount of lady-like and edge. Also, for all you Phoenix followers and bargain enthusiasts, these jeans were a steal from Last Chance, Nordstrom’s final sale basement shop. Clare and I both scored these quality Paige jeans in our size for under $20 and we didn’t even have to fight anyone for them (I’ve heard some horror stories).
If you don’t know where to find me, I’ll be in this top for the next few months as summer transitions to fall. Oh, and did I mention the back has buttons? I’m telling you, this guy’s a keeper.

Stay cool and stylin’ out there, friends!
